Reiki is a hands on natural healing method using the life force energy. The term comes from the Japanese words "re", meaning universal, and "ki," meaning vital life force energy that flows through all living things.
A Reiki treatment may do the following:

Reiki for Everyone
Kristen Byrt is a Usui/ Holy Fire® III Reiki Master/ Teacher, and Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master located in Northwest Indiana. She is a professional member of the International Center for Reiki Training. Kristen has been a Registered Nurse for over 20 years working in hospital, school, and home health settings.
"In 2016, I was experiencing health issues that did not make sense as I had always strived to eat well, exercise and I valued health. My energy felt off! In desperation, I searched for alternative means of improving my wellbeing, and attended a reiki session at a church sanctuary. I was surprised at how well I felt upon receiving my first reiki session. It was like a veil had lifted and I knew what would help me balance my energy and wellbeing. After a year of receiving occasional reiki sessions, and self-reflection, I realized I wanted to share the energy of reiki with others, and learned all levels of Usui Reiki, becoming a reiki teacher.
Everyone can benefit from receiving Reiki, and I am amazed to see how Reiki improves lives."

Kristen provides Reiki sessions in-person, as well as distance Reiki and Certified Reiki classes through the International Center for Reiki Training.

60 Minute Reiki Session

We will begin with a short discussion, set intentions for the Reiki healing session, and you will receive Reiki while lying peacefully on a massage table. Essential oils may be utilized to enhance relaxation.
Reiki Session for Child

Kids can benefit from Reiki sessions too! This 40 minute session can help your child relax, and balance energy. Children can experience relaxation, decreased anxiety, and a increase in concentration .
